I am a recent doctoral graduate of the University of Toledo studying condensed matter physics. My specific research is focused on applying spectroscopic ellipsometry across wide spectral ranges to primarily thin film materials, many of which have relevance to photovoltaics. I am particularly interested in finding ways that the optical modeling involved in ellipsometry can be leveraged to determine other useful material properties beyond simply complex dielectric functions.
